| My Tutorial Rates vary in a range from $20 per hour to $45 per hour. Some of what determines the exact rate(s) are:
Subject I have a base rate of $25 per hour that is reduced to $20 per hour for minor students enrolled in grades 5 through 12. Elementary/Middle School students $25 per hour regardless of subject. High School students $30 per hour for computer, math and science classes. Adult rate is $35 per hour unless adjusted by contractual agreement or commitment of four session or more. Contract/Commitment Contract rates can be negotiated, but at no time will they be lower than $20 per hour. Commitment by student to more than four sessions, recruiting other students, and promoting my services all can result in cash bonuses or possible free sessions. Location While I will travel to any reasonable location, I prefer meeting in public locations for tutoring sessions. If session are held in a private location like a home or apartment of a student the minimum rate is $35 per hour! My Travel While I generally don't charge extra for travel, if I have to go more than 30 miles additional charges may be added to cover the cost of travel. These additional charges will be added to a minimum rate of $35 per hour. |
